LEESBURG, VA (August 5, 2007) - The National Institute for Automotive Excellence (ASE) has released the latest addition to its popular TechQuiz series with a new Parts Specialist quiz. This new offering from ASE is the fifth in the TechQuiz series, and follows the 2006 release of Gasoline Engines, Drive Trains, Undercar and Electrical/Electronics & HVAC.

The Parts Specialist TechQuiz measures basic knowledge related to working in a retail parts environment. The Parts quiz consists of 50 multiple-choice questions in three content areas: Customer Relations and Sales Skills, Product Knowledge and Business Problem Solving. The evaluation can help individuals prepare for the ASE certification tests, or help identify areas needing improvement through targeted training. Because these are not pass/fail tests, users get a score report with details on how they did in each area.

Perhaps the greatest value of the TechQuiz product, however, is the opportunity to experience questions asked in the ASE format. Although the quizzes are not a certification, they can be taken multiple times to get an idea of progress in acquiring knowledge - and can be taken in the privacy of one's own home if desired. The results can also be stored for later reference and easily retrieved.

The new self-assessment quizzes are available through the ASE Campus online at www.asecampus.com. You can also get to the ASE Campus through www.ase.com and clicking on the ASE Campus tab. Once there, simply create a profile and you can immediately access the TechQuiz self-assessments 24/7. Each quiz costs $12.50.
