CALENDAR OF EVENTSe-Forum Will Tackle The Legalities
of e-Commerce BETHESDA, MD - Participants at this year's Aftermarket eForum will have the opportunity to gain a basic understanding of patent, trademark, copyright and privacy law in the United States as it relates to e-commerce. Arent Fox's Tony Lupo and Sarah Bruno will host a session titled, "Intellectual Property Issues of IT - A Primer on Topics that Should Keep You Up at Night," on Tuesday, July 18. The sessions is designed to help participants determine if their "catalogs, brochures, part numbers and product packages are protected." The session also will cover Web site privacy policies - when they are needed and what they should include. Lupo and Bruno will also give attendees a strategy for protecting their rights on and off the Internet and around the world. Lupo, a partner at Arent Fox and a member of the executive committee, co-chairs the Entertainment/Intellectual Property Group of the firm, specializes in copyright, entertainment, trademark and e-commerce law. Bruno practices in the areas of advertising and marketing, e-commerce, intellectual property, privacy and sweepstakes and contests for Arent Fox.
