Sherwin- Williams Automotive Finishes announced that its A- Plus™ Network members will be among the first collision repair facilities to join the Collision Guard™ online safe driving community. Collisionguard.com posts collision repair facility profiles and provides monthly e-coupons to members, thus creating consumer traffic at its affiliated body shops while spreading the word about safe driving.

Collision Guard is a fast-growing safe-driving campaign started by several auto body shop owners in Utah. This online community combines automotive deals, quirky videos, and thought-provoking research to help make safe driving easy, fun, and rewarding. Along the way, its creators say they are building a powerful network of automotive businesses committed to making the nation’s roads a little safer.

“Collision Guard is a free, membership-based online safe driving community that helps its members stay safe and save money by creatively and effectively engaging them in driving-safety information, and providing exclusive access to vehicle-related discounts,” said Troy Neuerburg, Manager of Marketing Business Services at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “Having our A-Plus network shops associated with a positive entity like Collision Guard is a great, low-cost value-added opportunity that supports safe driving, builds member loyalty, and subsequently, can increase their business opportunities along the way.”

Each month, Collision Guard sends a customized e-mail to all its members, highlighting stories, safety videos, driving data and tips. This ongoing awareness program seamlessly integrates accident-prevention content into the lives of its members, absolutely free. It also provides them with discounts and services for a variety of automotive services.

A-Plus Network shops can sign up, add their profile and post a coupon (without spending anything on marketing or advertising). Then the shop’s profile is visible to Collision Guard members in their local zip code and surrounding areas. Information is easy to change or update, and the site provides social media materials to all shop member’s blogs, Facebook pages and/or websites.

The A-Plus Network is made up of an exclusive group of collision repair specialists who reflect the industry’s highest standards. They are part of the Sherwin- Williams Automotive Finishes A-Plus Network value added program that combines comprehensive business solutions to help them improve customer service, employee growth, insurance relationships, process refinement, productivity and profitability.
