The Collision Repair Education Foundation's 10th annual summer golf fundraiser has sold out four months prior to the July 21 event.
The round of golf and networking reception will bring together 144 industry members from around the country to the Stonebridge Golf Club in Salt Lake City. Funds raised through the event assist the foundation with providing secondary and post-secondary collision student scholarships and the Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 school grant opportunity.
Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger said, “The Foundation’s summer golf fundraiser has had a continued streak of success through our industry participants and supporters.
The 2009 event D.C. raised $23,000 with 100 golfers, in 2010 the event in Chicago raised $35,000 with a sold out crowd of 144, and our upcoming event is on track to raise over $50,000 for the organization. We look forward to holding a unique golfing and networking experience for the attending industry professionals this July while raising additional funds that will support the future of the industry. Again, our sincere thanks to our registrants and sponsors for making this happen.”
Several sponsorship opportunities are still available for the golf fundraiser. Individuals interested in being placed on the event’s waiting list should contact Education Foundation Associate Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode at [email protected] or 847.463.5244.
