APU Solutions, a software developer for the auto-insurance,
collision-repair and alternative-parts industries, released
SubroNetwork, an historical parts lookup tool.
SubroNetwork, a tool for arbitrating disputes between insurance
carriers, redefines detailed documentation of historical part
availability, quality and deliverability. The four-step workflow
reveals critical facts and a summary report in less than five
minutes. SubroNetwork will also ensure historical part
availability all the way down to local deliveries within 36
hours of the dates searched.
“SubroNetwork is like a time capsule because it literally allows
subrogation specialists to go back in time to see the
availability conditions on any given day in the past,” said
Charles Lukens, CEO of APU, which processed 40 million quotes in
2010. “That’s because our web-based platform, PartsNetwork, is
always on, reflecting live, real-time, nationwide auto parts
inventories.”
For insurance carriers, SubroNetwork is both an offensive and
defensive weapon. With it, insurers win more in arbitration and
go to arbitration less, thanks to SubroNetwork’s real-time
reporting with access to detailed, accurate data, Lukens said. SubroNetwork evolves rapidly due to insurance client input
and the same development that is part of
APU’s flagship PartsNetwork, as well as its DataNetwork
reporting suite.
