DEG accepting applications for program administrator
The Database Enhancement Gateway (DEG) is searching for a new program administrator. The DEG was started in 2008 to provide collision estimating system end-users with a standardized process to provide feedback to the information providers in an effort to promote collision estimating data accuracy. It is a collaborative initiative developed by the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP), the Automotive Service Association (ASA) and the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS).
The DEG administrator will be expected to interface between estimating system end-users and information providers, processing inquiries and the resolutions that stem from them. The position requires the applicant to be thoroughly familiar with all three primary estimating platforms, while performing a variety of other essential business tasks associated with the position. Current administrator Bud Center has contracted with the DEG to remain in place processing inquiries until a qualified applicant replaces him.
