I-CAR said prices for instructor-led classroom training will increase less than 2 percent effective Oct. 4, 2010, but prices for online training will remain the same.

Bill Stage, I-CAR Director of Marketing and Distribution said, "Historically we have adjusted our pricing in the fall. This increase is less than 2 percent which is respectful of economic conditions. This enables I-CAR, operating as a not-for-profit organization, to provide many services, maintain our courses, and develop new courses that address advances in vehicle manufacturing and collision repair technology."

With the purchase of I-CAR discount coupons in advance, the cost of classroom training will change to $114 per 4-hour course. I- CAR Gold Class Professionals businesses and I-CAR Platinum Individual students will also receive further discounts with training at $97 per class. Additional discounted prices of $110 and $93 respectively are available to students who bypass the coupon purchase process, using I-CAR's online registration and payment with a major credit card.

"I-CAR training offers an exceptional value and we are committed to continuing to provide a high level of quality to the inter- industry," Stage added. "With these changes, I believe I-CAR can continue to deliver on its vision - that every person in the collision industry, current and future, has the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to their position to achieve a complete and safe repair."
