Wesco Autobody Supply received the Collision Automotive Repair
Services
(CARS) "Simply the Best" Award Aug. 18 at its corporate
headquarters in
Mountlake Terrace, Wash.
CARS is a membership cooperative that brings body shops and
vendors together
to allow shops to have increased buying power. The award
recognizes jobbers
who have gone beyond their normal day-to-day operations to become
a leader
in customer service.
Wesco has been in business for 37 years and provides products for
three
states in the Pacific Northwest. It has 24 retail and wholesale
outlets with
two warehouses, one of which contains more than 28,000 square feet
of space.
Wesco is the largest supplier of 3M and BASF paint products in
Washington.
Wesco provides complete layouts for construction of new shops or
expansions,
which include plans and financial proposals. The company also
provides a
training facility to keep all employees, shop owners and shop
employees
current on the latest technologies.
The award was received by DuAnne Nestegard, who has been with
Wesco for 25
years. She is the coordinator of Wesco's point-of-sales and the
CARS Rewards
Program Coordinator. Wesco became affiliated with the CARS in
1993.
