Distributors reported a very difficult year in 2009

ABRN state of the industry 2010 outlook distributors Distributors who responded to the survey reported a very tough 2009. Of those surveyed, 57.1% reported that their total revenue decreased. Of those reporting decreases, 24% reported drops of 6% to 10%, and 17.3% reported revenues declines from 21% to 25%. Optimism remains. For 2010, 63.3% of respondents expect revenues to increase while 12.1% expect a decrease – a marked change from the 19.6% of respondents who expected declines for 2009.
