The I-CAR Education Foundation selected 21 collision schools to receive windshield replacement tool kits, each valued at $250, which were donated to the foundation from UltraWiz.

The original UltraWiz tool grant was scheduled to award the kits to 15 collision schools. However, upon hearing that 21 deserving schools had applied for the grant, UltraWiz increased their donation to accommodate all 21 schools. Through UltraWiz’s donation, these schools will have additional tools and equipment to assist in teaching their students about glass repair.

The winning schools are:
University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (Morrilton, Ark.)
Daytona State College (Daytona Beach, Fla.)
Southwestern Community College (Creston, Iowa)
Big Sandy Community & Technical College (Paintsville, Ky.)
Caddo Career & Technology Center (Shreveport, La.)
Madison Park Technical Vocational High School (Boston, Mass.)
Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School (Charlton, Mass.)
Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School (Fitchburg, Mass.)
Medford Vocational Technical High (Medford, Mass.)
Washington County Technical High School (Hagerstown, Md.)

Automotive Training Center (Warminster, Pa.)
Heyward Career and Technology Center (Columbia, S.C.)
Sumter County Career Center (Sumter, S.C.)

“This is a great opportunity for collision repair students to gain real experience with the tools they may be using in their careers,” says Scott Kruger, I-CAR Education Foundation executive director. “Thank you to Robert and everyone at UltraWiz for their donation.”

“The I-CAR Education Foundation is very dedicated group,” said Robert Nilsson, president of A.N. Designs, which manufacturers the full line of UltraWiz Auto Glass Removal Hand Tools. “What they do for the collision industry is very impressive, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
