ALLDATA made a donation to the Collision Repair Education Campaign through the I-CAR Education Foundation. The funds, which total more than $7,400, will go to grants and scholarships to be distributed to schools across North America. ALLDATA contributes a portion of each ALLDATA Collision sale from facilities that have achieved the I-CAR Gold Class designation to the I-CAR Education Foundation.
“The ALLDATA donation program is unique in that it supports the education of future collision technicians through existing autobody professionals’ own continuing education – a win-win for the entire collision industry,” says Scott Kruger, executive director of the Education Foundation. “I am pleased that our industry’s overall commitment to education is such that this year’s contribution triples the amount donated by ALLDATA from last year. Thanks to ALLDATA and we look forward to working together in the future to assist collision students and schools across the country.”
“ALLDATA is proud to support the work of the I-CAR Educational Foundation,” says Wayne Mitchell, ALLDATA director of national accounts. “Today's vehicles and the material used to build them are highly complex, and they are getting more complex by the day. I-CAR’s ongoing professional training and ALLDATA Collision’s OE repair information are both vital to safe, effective collision repairs.”
