New automotive lift standard addresses training, maintenance and inspection

CORTLAND, N.Y. — The Automotive Lift Institute has revised ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2000 to ANSI/ALI ALOIM:2008, which was recently approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

CORTLAND, N.Y. — The Automotive Lift Institute has revised ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2000 to ANSI/ALI ALOIM:2008, which was recently approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

This new standard, which is now available through ALI, becomes effective on September 24, 2008. The current standard (ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2000) remains effective and will continue to be available until this date.
