CHICAGO — In “extreme home makeover” style, the collision industry will present products and services to help outfit the auto body program at Kennedy-King College’s new campus on Thurs., June 7 from 2-4 p.m. Donations will include potential vehicles, other props, I-CAR curriculum and Instructor Qualification Workshop (IQW) paid fees. A tour of the new facility will follow.
I-CAR states that the collision industry is experiencing a shortage of trained entry-level employees, and this event displays the industry’s ongoing commitment to attracting and retaining employees by revitalizing auto body programs available through the educational system.
The presentation is to be made by I-CAR President and CEO Tom McGee, State Farm Insurance Companies representatives and Kennedy-King College Director of Applied Science Dept. James Warren.
