HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — The Inter-Industry Conference On Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) has released an updated schedule of the I-CAR Virtual Classroom, a gasoline- and money-saving alternative to driving to an I-CAR training site that offers benefits including the opportunity for questions and answers with a live instructor, immediate test results through online testing and unique content relating to recent developments in collision repair technologies. Anyone can take I-CAR training in their home or office, delivered via WebEx — an Internet-based system that integrates voice and data sharing to enhance the learning experience — to earn Gold Class and Platinum points.
An updated schedule of I-CAR Virtual Classroom training is now available covering areas such as aluminum and hybrids, and each training session lasts two hours and contains an online post-test. One-half (0.5) of a point is awarded for successful completion of each Virtual Classroom program, and points may be applied to the I-CAR Gold Class Professionals and Platinum Individual recognition programs.
To attend an I-CAR Virtual Training session, students need a high-speed Internet connection and a separate phone line. After a free and simple software download, attendees can be prepared for Virtual Classroom training in minutes after registering. Payment for Virtual Classroom training is made online with a credit card on a secure e-commerce system. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required to attend these sessions.
Visit the I-CAR web site at www.i-car.com for more information on the Virtual Classroom.
