High-performance paint that fully cures in two minutes or less without mixing isocyanate catalysts is the promise of UV-cured paint technology. The promise has already been realized in UV-cured primers that are available to U.S. refinishers today. UV-cured clear coats and UV-cured putties have been demonstrated at trade shows and are in field-testing and focus groups. Paint manufacturers say these and other UV-cured products are well on their way to the automotive refinish market.Manufacturer
