CCAR recognizes two shops with “GreenLink Shop” status

June 29, 2011—The Coordinating Committee for Automotive Repair (CCAR) recognized two collision repair shops with its “GreenLink Shop” status.

The shops that received the recognition include:

• Auto Show Collision Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
• Frank’s Accurate Body Shop in Slidell, La.

The “GreenLink Shop” status promotes consumer confidence in local automotive repair facilities’ environmental and safety awareness and stewardship, according to CCAR.

Repair facilities pursuing “GreenLink Shop” recognition must maintain high standards of excellence in environmental, health and safety practices in four categories: business operations, employee training, safety compliance and environmental management. The CCAR initiative recognizes auto service facilities and collision repair shops with separate criteria established for each type of business.
