Automotive Parts Associates Names New President

March 3, 2014—Automotive Parts Association (APA) announced Monday the appointment of Gary Martin, AAP, as president and CEO.

Martin will take on the role from retiring president and CEO, Dan Freeman, effective March 1.

Martin has served as executive vice president of the association since February 2013.

As president and CEO, Martin will direct all facets of APA’s operations while working closely with the APA board of directors.

“I am honored to be associated with such a talented and focused group of people,” said Martin. “I look forward to working closely with this organization as we continue to grow and prosper in this ever changing environment which we call the automotive aftermarket.”
