Location set for ASRW Welcome Party

Sept. 4, 2012

Sept. 4, 2012—This year’s Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) Welcome Party will take place at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, event organizers announced Tuesday.

The ASRW Welcome Party will allow attendees to visit the warehouse of Mardi Gras parade floats and sculptures, as well as the Grand Oaks Mansion—an indoor antebellum mansion replica. The event, sponsored by CCC Information Services Inc., is scheduled for Oct. 11 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

ASRW organizers said complimentary transportation to the event will be provided for all ASRW attendees.

“Mardi Gras World represents quintessential New Orleans, and it’s the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening and lively celebration,” said Ron Pyle, president of the Automotive Service Association (ASA). “What a great place to kick-off another ASRW.”

ASRW 2012, which includes the NACE and CARS events, is scheduled for Oct. 10-13 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. For more information, visit asrwevents.com.
