SEMA announces new exhibitor section for 2011 show

July 12, 2011

July 12, 2011—Organizers of the 2011 SEMA Show on Monday announced the creation of a new area within the show floor called the First-Time and Featured Exhibitors Section.

The First-Time and Featured Exhibitors Section was developed to accommodate the growing number of manufacturers signing up for the 2011 SEMA Show, according to SEMA. The section will include manufacturers from a variety of market segments. About 80 percent of manufacturers in the section represent first-time exhibitors.

“We’re excited about this new area of the SEMA Show,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA’s vice president of events and communications. “The section gives buyers a single place to see and meet with hundreds of first-time exhibitors.”

The new section will be located in the east side, upper level of South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Also located in the area will be Ideas Alive, the name and theme for the 2011 SEMA Show New Products Showcase, according to SEMA.

“We’re confident that buyers will be attracted to the First-Time and Featured Exhibitors area,” MacGillivray said. “Because it’s on the show floor adjacent to some of the most popular features, buyers will not have to walk far to meet with these new exhibitors.”

To date, more than 1,800 manufacturers have committed to exhibiting at the 2011 SEMA Show, scheduled Nov. 1-4 in Las Vegas. For more information, visit SEMAShow.com.
