Jan. 29, 2015—NABR and Ray Gunder will host a workshop, entitled “VRS New Technology, Labor Rates, and Cost of Doing Business,” on Feb. 9 in Lakeland, Fla.
The meeting will run from 7-9 p.m. at Regal Chevrolet Lakeland, Fla.
NABR CEO Richard Valenzuela and president Sam Valenzuela will present the Variable Rate System (VRS) technology and explain why they feel it is the solution to the collision repair industry's stagnant labor rate problem.
Using the VRS 5-Step solution, attendees will learn how to utilize the VRS online tools to properly price auto body shop labor for their individual shop, based on the competitive environment; their shop's cost of doing business; the shop's profit goals; and the shop's level of training, certifications, and investment in equipment and technology.
"We are extremely enthusiastic to partner with Ray Gunder, a real leader and advocate for the collision repair industry, who wants to make a real difference for shops in Florida and nationwide," Richard Valenzuela said in a release. "As an early adopter of the VRS technology, Ray was quick to see the vision and promise that the VRS brings to restore the free market to labor rate pricing in this industry."
