July 7, 2015—National Auto Body Research (NABR) announced that it will host a Variable Rate System (VRS) workshop, “It’s Now or Never! Calculate and Collect Market-Based Labor Rates Using the Variable Rate System,” July 15 in Austin, Texas, and July 16 in San Antonio, Texas.

The workshops are sponsored by Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes.

NABR CEO Richard Valenzuela and company president Sam Valenzuela will present the VRS technology as a solution to the collision repair industry’s stagnant labor rate problem. Through the VRS 5-Step Solution, attendees will learn how to utilize the VRS online tools to properly set labor rates for their individual shop, based on the competitive environment; their shop's cost of doing business; the shop's profit goals; and the shop's level of training, certifications, and investment in equipment and technology.

Both workshops run from 6:30–8:30 p.m. The July 15 workshop in Austin will be at the Hampton Inn North (7619 Interstate 35 Frontage Road, 78752).

On July 16, the San Antonio workshop will be held at the Crowne Plaza San Antonio Airport (1111 Northeast Loop 410, 78209).

The workshops are free for qualified collision repair professionals and refreshments will be served. Space is limited and reservations are required. To reserve your space, click here

NABR plans to hold more workshops at various locations throughout the country during 2015. The workshop schedule is posted online at the NABR website
