Honda, CCC Partner to Flag Recalled Vehicles

Oct. 20, 2016

Oct. 20, 2016—Honda has announced that it has partnered with CCC to flag recalled vehicles in CCC ONE.

Honda has shared recall data with CCC True Recall, which automatically notifies auto body shops using CCC ONE if a vehicle is included in a manufacturer recall. The system works by VIN number. If a collision repairer starts an estimate, enters a car’s VIN number and eventually finds a recall, it activates a pop-up and lets the estimator print out Honda’s recall notification to provide to customers.

Recalled Acura models are also included, according to CCC.
