Sept. 5, 2014—Cequent Performance Products Inc. announced on Thursday the establishment of TriMotive Americas, a dedicated global business focused exclusively on its original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and original equipment service operation (OES) customers.
This newly formed group will closely align with TriMotive operations in Europe, South Africa, and Southeast Asia.
“TriMotive Americas will essentially be a company within our company, with dedicated operational resources and staffing exclusively focused on supporting our automotive OEM customers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America, while collaborating with TriMotive operations throughout the world,” said Tom Benson, president of Cequent Performance Products. “This change will provide a common face and comprehensive presence to support automakers worldwide.”
Additionally, Cequent Performance Products announced the appointment of Mike Sislo, vice president and general manager of TriMotive Americas, to lead the transition and build this new division.
“Mike comes to Cequent Performance Products with more than 20 years of heavy duty and automotive OEM experience,” Benson said. “He is well qualified for the opportunity and will make an excellent addition to our team.”
