Matrix System Automotive Finishes is proud to announce a charitable endeavor called, “Artists 4 Education.”
David Brunori, President of Quest Automotive Products, explains that, “Our Artists 4 Education campaign was created with the sole purpose of raising awareness to the growing shortage of certified technicians entering into the collision repair industry. My team has reached out to custom artists across the country to participate in this unique project and with no surprise, the airbrush and pin striping community is bending over backwards to get involved! Artists are uniting for the cause creating cool, custom pieces of artwork that will be auctioned off during the 2013 SEMA Show and the 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise event. All proceeds will be distributed to the Collision Repair Education Foundation, with a portion being donated to our local program in Michigan, the Oakland Schools Education Foundation” says Brunori.
Custom painted items include: metal wall cabinets, spray guns, tool box, vintage gumball and popcorn machines, vintage pull wagon, hanging ‘hot rod’ fish, vintage gas cans, motorcycle helmet, garage stools, metal trash can, iPad, longboard skateboards, snowboard, bowling pins, tri-cycle, KitchenAid® stand mixer, and other various items. The All-Star Artist line-up consists of some of the best airbrushers and pinstripers in the industry: Nub, Steve DeMan, Mike Learn, Mitch Peacock, Ron "Flea" Fleanor, Bugs, Armando Serrano, Jeff Styles, Jonathan Pantaleon, Ryan Evans, Richard “Duke” Bobinac, Brian Lynch, Pat Paldino, James Kunzinger, Don Ruks, and Sam Shriver to name a few.
The website (www.Artists4Education.org) will feature each piece of artwork prior to SEMA so that bids can be placed by those who cannot attend. The site will also include artist biographies, supporting organizations or individuals, and foundation links. Look for future announcements with website launch date and how to bid instructions.
Matrix System Automotive Finishes is committed to assisting these foundations help the many schools and students across the country that can benefit from some financial or equipment support. “If we can help one student enter into this awesome industry the mission was a success” says Brunori.About The Collision Repair Education Foundation
