The Presenters
DJ MITCHELL has been in the collision repair industry since his teens when he started working in his father’s body shop over the summers sweeping floors and sanding school buses. While attending the University of Central Florida, DJ worked for a local luxury dealership as a combination technician, and he eventually moved into management working for one of the Big Four. DJ and his father, Dave, then founded Car Guys Collision Repair, which operated 13 locations throughout Florida. After selling to Joe Hudson’s Collision Centers earlier this year, DJ has retained management of his stores and is charged with growing the brand's reach in the region. DJ is an online columnist for FenderBender.
RON REICHEN is an accomplished collision repair industry veteran, operating two shops in Bend and Beaverton, Oregon. He is heavily engaged in the industry, is a past chairman of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists and the current president of Oregon Collision Repair Specialists. Reichen is a former FenderBender editorial advisory board member and a past FenderBender Award winner, and his shop is a prime example of utilizing OE certifications to drive success.
