Caliber opens new Texas shop

Dec. 21, 2011—Caliber Collision Centers on Tuesday opened a new collision repair facility in Cypress, Texas, a suburb of Houston.

Caliber said the 25,000-square-foot facility, managed by James Loftin, is the company’s 47th shop in Texas. Caliber now operates 94 collision repair centers throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas.

“Today’s announcement is the latest example of how Caliber continues to expand our capacity to meet the needs of our customers and insurance clients in high growth markets across the state of Texas,” said Steve Grimshaw, CEO of Caliber. “Our newest opening in the Houston suburb of Cypress, Texas, continues our expansion plans across our core markets while providing insurance clients the customer focus, cost management and operational consistency they need in today’s competitive insurance market.”
