CARSTAR Collision Donates Car to Veteran

Dec. 7, 2015

Dec. 7, 2015—On Veterans Day, CARSTAR Scola’s Collision Center donated a fully refurbished 2015 Chevy Equinox to a military veteran in association with the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides project.

CARSTAR Scola’s Collision Center expertly rebuilt the Chevy Equinox at its own expense with parts donated by vendors.

The recipient of the vehicle, Jacob Crawford, works for the State Service Office.

"I ride my bike to the train station where I catch a train to meet these veterans who are limited in their travels due to their disabilities,” said Crawford, an eight-year U.S. Air Force veteran.  “This vehicle will not only help me but it will help a lot veterans and their families.  I am truly grateful. I travel close to two hundred miles a week."
