Caliber Collision Finalizes Craftsman, Pohanka Acquisitions

Jan. 5, 2015—Caliber Collision announced on Monday that it has officially completed its acquisitions of both Craftsman Auto Body and Pohanka Collision Centers.

With the acquisitions, which were first reported on Dec. 19, Caliber Collision now operates 232 collision centers in 11 states across the U.S.

Founded in 1919, Pohanka Collision Centers has 12 locations across Northern Virginia and Maryland. Craftsman Auto Body has 13 locations in Virginia.

“We have admired Craftsman and Pohanka for many years and are honored that they have agreed to partner with us as we work together to restore Virginia and Maryland customers to the rhythm of their lives,” Caliber Collision CEO Steve Grimshaw said in a release.
