Two New Gerber Locations Open in Maryland

Nov. 13, 2013

Nov. 13, 2013—The Boyd Group recently announced the acquisition of two collision repair centers in Maryland that will add to the continued growth of its Gerber Collision & Glass brand.

The Catonsville and Ellicott City repair centers are approximately 12,500 square feet, and previously operated as Pie's Body Shop and Pie's Auto Collision Experts, respectively. Both Centers now operate under the Gerber trade name.

With these two new additions, the Boyd Group owns and operates nine repair centers in Maryland, which brings its total number of U.S. locations to 216. Boyd also operates shops under the Hansen Collision and Glass brand.

President and COO of the Boyd Group’s U.S. operations, Tim O’Day, said the addition of the two centers is part of the company’s larger growth goal of 6–10 percent growth in single-location additions this year.
