March 27, 2017—Axalta recently revealed Color_gen, its 2017 automotive color collection.
Axalta released Color_gen at its 2017 Color Show China, a four-day event that began March 21 in Chonqing and Shanghai. The aim of Color_gen is to help manufacturers understand the color preferences of each generation of drivers.
The collection notes the preferences of three different demographics: GenNext (those ages 16 to 35), GenHere&Now (36-55), and GenLux (55 and over).
