Feb. 23, 2017—Carubba Collision, which consists of 14 locations in New York, launched a new website devoted strictly to the employment for candidates interested in a career in the collision repair industry.
The new website includes information on apprenticeship opportunities, as well as a job application. There are currently nine listings for various jobs, from detail technician to estimator to painter to porter. It is also replete with testimonials from Carubba Collision employees.
“Our industry has been given a bad rap. The earning potential in our industry far exceeds other trades. Our goal is to get the word out to all the trade schools and job fairs by advertising and promoting this new and targeted website,” said Joseph Carubba, president and CEO of Carubba Collision. “Critical to our continued success is our commitment to attracting, hiring and developing the best professional, quality minded associates."
In a recent interview with FenderBender, Daren Fristoe, owner of The Fristoe Group and human resources consultant for Sherwin-Williams’ A-PLUS Network of shops, said your website is the easiest and most cost-efficient option for recruiting quality employees.
"It costs you little to nothing to put another tab on your site labeled 'Career Opportunities,'" he said. "That casts a virtual net that's expansive and that you can collect résumés and applications from. Just make sure it's accessible on a phone."
