Feb. 20, 2017—ABRA Auto Body & Glass has earned NSF certification for more than 200 of its auto body shops through NSF International’s Collision Repair Shop Certification Program.

As part of the certification, NSF International will monitor that the participating ABRA locations perform high-quality and consistent repairs, use and maintain proper equipment for the job, have qualified personnel, use quality parts, and provide excellent customer service. Each ABRA location will undergo annual third-party audits along with monthly internal audits which demonstrate consistent achievement of all requirements of the NSF International Collision Repair Shop Certification Program.

ABRA previously announced the certification of 70 of its centers in August of last year and has been working since to expand certification across its network of auto body shops. The company intends to continue working toward certifying all 335 auto body shops in its portfolio.

“This is one more validation we do it right,” said Scott Krohn, chief process and quality officer at ABRA. “Our number one priority is ensuring the vehicles we repair are safe for drivers and their passengers when they return to the road. Earning the sought after NSF International Collision Repair Shop Certification demonstrates our organization’s unwavering commitment to safety at every level.”

“NSF International’s independent certification program goes beyond a typical validation program to evaluate a shop’s ability to conduct quality repairs,” said Dave Parzen, senior technical project manager for NSF International. “ABRA’s auto body shops certified by NSF International excel in quality, customer service, and environmental protection.”
