Dec. 11, 2012

Dec. 11, 2012—The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) is now accepting scholarship applications to attend the 2013 WIN Conference May 5-7 in Phoenix.

WIN’s conference scholarships are available to all female students, instructors and shop employees within the collision repair industry. The student scholarships include coverage of conference registration, two nights of hotel expense, $250 toward travel expenses, and one-year membership to WIN. The instructor and shop employee scholarships provide coverage of conference registration, $125 toward travel expenses, and one-year membership to WIN.

“By offering scholarships to instructors as well as students and shop employees, the WIN conference helps add to their professional career development in the collision repair industry,” said Teresa Bolton, co-chair of WIN’s Education Committee.

The student, instructor and shop employee scholarships will be awarded to as many entrants as financially possible, and will be based on the competitiveness of their application, according to WIN’s website. The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by WIN’s annual scholarship budget.

The scholarship application deadline is March 8. Visit WIN’s website for specific requirements and application guidelines.
