Gerber Opens New Michigan Facility

Oct. 9, 2014—Gerber Collision & Glass is opening another location in Michigan, the company recently announced.

The newest franchise to be set in Commerce Township, Mich., will bring the total number of Gerber locations in the state to 39. The location is 13,000 square feet and shares a building with a car dealership.

"We are pleased with the addition of the Commerce Township location as we continue to expand our presence in the metro Detroit market and enhance our leading market position in Michigan," Tim O'Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations said in a release. "Additionally, this repair center being co-located with a car dealership gives us a prime opportunity to introduce dealership customers to our high level of quality and service."
