Nov. 10, 2016—The Boyd Group recently announced that it has acquired 55 auto body operations since the start of 2016, which is nearing a yearly record for the company.

The record year for acquisitions for the Boyd Group―which operates Gerber Collision & Glass in the U.S. and Boyd Autobody & Glass in Canada―was 2014, with the addition of 61 locations to the group. In the third quarter of 2016, the company has seen an increase in sales of 14.7 percent, to $345.3 million from $301.1 million in 2015.

“With 55 new locations added so far this year, along with healthy organic growth, we are confident that we are on track to achieve our long-term goals,” said Brock Bulbuck, CEO of the Boyd Group. “Going forward, we expect that our prudent and disciplined approach will continue to deliver positive results.”
