G&C Auto Body, State Farm, NABC Donate Van

July 6, 2016

July 6, 2016—G&C Auto Body, an 11-location repair business in California, announced that it had partnered with State Farm and the National Auto Body Council (NABC) Recycled Rides program to donate a vehicle to a deserving family.

State Farm donated a 2009 Dodge Caravan with 28,000 miles to the cause. The van was then restored by G&C Auto Body and through a contest on a local radio station, G&C’s community outreach organization found Nicole Melanson, a single mother of twin 4 month old boys to donate the vehicle to. Melanson received the keys for the vehicle from local State Farm agent Keith Gralock on June 24.

“The Recycled Rides program provides us with a unique way to say thank you to Sonoma County,” said local State Farm sales executive, Mike Mutch.  “We have a proud history of supporting our local communities and we’re pleased to work with G&C Auto Body on this Recycled Rides program which enables us to give back to a deserving community member.”
