Aug. 1, 2016—Service King Collision Repair Centers announced Friday that it hosted its first annual Service King Chicago Charity Golf Tournament this week, helping to raise $25,000 for the Angels on Assignment organization. The event hosted 140 local golfers at the Crystal Tree Country Club in Orland Park, Ill.

Angels on Assignments, founded in 1999, strives to provide assistance to children and families facing serious illness. The organization assists with health, medical and travel expenses while also providing emotional support alongside other local charities, hospitals and schools.

“The Service King family and our Chicago teammates could not be more proud to partner with Angels on Assignment in pursuit of its mission to support children and families facing serious illness,” Jerod Guerin, Service King regional vice president of Northeast operations, said. “Connecting with our community and supporting organizations that reach out to those in need is a core component of The Service King Way and our mission to serve others.”
