Aug. 26, 2015—The Boyd Group announced on Tuesday the Aug. 20 acquisition and opening of a new location for Gerber Collision & Glass in Lake City, Fla. The center previously operated as Duval Automotive.
"This new location further builds on our large market presence in Florida and adds an important service capability in the northern part of the state," said Tim O'Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "This also demonstrates that we are on track to achieve our growth target of 6 to 10 percent through single-store additions.This center has served the collision repair needs of Lake City for almost 40 years and we are proud to become a member of the community.
