Aug. 28, 2014

Aug. 28, 2014—Liss CARSTAR Auto body Repair Experts of Crown Point, Ind., held its ninth Annual Charity Golf Outing recently, raising more than $22,200 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana–Indiana Region.

The event, hosted at White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point, drew 156 golfers and donations from corporate sponsors like 3M, Alkon, BASF, CCC, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Finishmaster, Hertz, Lansing Cleaners, Lear Corp., and United Services.

“Liss CARSTAR is so honored to be inducted into the 'Chris Greicius Society' having donated over $100,000 to Make-A-Wish through the years,” said Charlotte Liss, the shop’s marketing manager. “It is rewarding to partner with other companies that not only care, but are willing to help make a difference. We are fortunate to have such wonderful business relationships.”

The funds raised will go toward granting two wishes—one for 6-year-old Jazmine, who wished to go to the Walt Disney World Resort, and to 5-year-old Amy, who will go on a Disney Cruise. The remaining funds will go toward granting a wish for a third child.
