Dec. 6, 2013—The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) announced on Thursday the names of the 45 industry professionals that were recognized during its annual awards banquet.
The banquet was held during ASE’s annual fall board meeting, which took place Nov. 20 at the Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach, Calif.
The recognitions were awarded based not only on ASE certification test scores, but also for those who demonstrated a strong support of community service and exhibited “on-the-job excellence.”
Thirty-eight different companies from both OEM and aftermarket segments sponsored the individual technician recognition awards in the auto, truck, collision and parts categories. There were also three instructor awards.
Awards for excellence have been given out for over 40 years.
