AMI honors 2010 graduating class

October 20, 2010—The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) honored its 17th class of Accredited Automotive Managers (AAMs) on Oct. 11.

AMI had 95 automotive professionals complete the minimum 120 credits to earn the AAM designation, according to an AMI press release_notes. The AMI business management courses focus on: financial management, marketing and sales, operations and service, management and administration, and personnel and human resource development.

“It is my pleasure to recognize these individuals for their achievements,” said Tony Passwater, AMI chairman. “The character and dedication of these men and women make them an asset to our industry.”

AMI has graduated 1,486 automotive professionals. The 2010 graduation took place during an awards luncheon at Automotive Service Repair Week (ASRW) in Las Vegas.
