Dec. 16, 2011—ALLDATA is expanding its presence into the Canadian market to better serve its growing customer base.
ALLDATA said on Thursday that the Canadian segment of the company will operate as ALLDATA Canada Services.
Previously, ALLDATA products were sold through a third-party distributor in Canada, said Kevin Culmo, group vice president of sales, operations and strategic planning for ALLDATA. But he said the company’s marketing efforts were limited, and many prospective customers were not cognizant of ALLDATA’s repair, shop management and customer relations products.
"We feel the time is right to strengthen our position in the Canadian market," Culmo said. “We now have a tremendous opportunity to build brand awareness and communicate the advantages of our full ALLDATA product suite to shops throughout the country."
Canadian ALLDATA subscribers will be offered comprehensive training and support, billing in Canadian dollars and customer service in both French and English languages, the company said.

ALLDATA, which launched 25 years ago, said it was the first organization to market electronic repair information. More than 80,000 North American repair shops use the company’s products today. For more information on ALLDATA’s product offerings, visit alldata.com.
