Gerber Expands in Las Vegas

Nov. 28, 2012—The Boyd Group Inc. has acquired Coachworks Collision Center based in Las Vegas.

The 10,000-square-foot collision repair facility will operate under the Boyd Group’s Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. The shop is the fourth repair location operated by the company in the Las Vegas market.

"The metro Las Vegas area is an attractive market for the Boyd Group," said Tim O'Day, president and chief operations officer of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "The addition of our fourth repair center in Las Vegas allows us to better serve customers and insurance partners in this highly populated and growing market."

The Boyd Group now operates 166 collision repair centers throughout 14 U.S. states under the following trade names: Gerber Collision & Glass, Pearl Auto Body and The Recovery Room.
