GEICO Names New VP of Southeast Operations

July 16, 2013—GEICO recently named Rhett Rayburn as vice president of Southeast operations.

GEICO said Rayburn has served the company since 1992 in several claims positions, including telephone claims representative, claims liability director and liability process coordinator. Rayburn most recently served as assistant vice president of claims operations in GEICO’s Tucson, Ariz., office.

Rayburn also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and GEICO Certified Underwriter designations.

"Rhett's experience in our claims operations gives him a breadth of experience that few others possess," said Tony Nicely, chairman and CEO of GEICO. "He could not be better prepared to meet the challenge of running a region."
