April 27, 2011 — MAACO recently chose Engage121, a software firm specializing in relationship management through social media, to manage its social media initiatives.
Using Engage121’s Enterprise solution will enable MAACO to develop approved content in individual libraries and syndicate that content at the corporate or individual franchise level, according to a press release_notes from Engage121.
It will also allow MAACO to create a more interactive experience for social media fans and followers. MAACO plans to conduct polls, encourage fan engagement and reward loyal fans with special offers through the development of customized Facebook applets.
“MAACO can now monitor customer and franchisee communication across multiple social media platforms, plus consumer review and rating sites, from the Engage121 integrated application,” said Warren Stoll, vice president of marketing for MAACO. “That saves us valuable time that we can use to engage more consumers, which is critical to our company's focus on customer satisfaction.”
MAACO runs 475 franchised centers and repairs and paints about 500,000 vehicles a year. Engage121 has provided its services to more than 1,000 national franchisors, dealerships, direct sellers and other communications professionals.
