Sherwin-Williams Launches Mobile Phone App

March 4, 2013

March 4, 2013—Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes on Monday announced the launch of a new mobile phone application called Body Shop App for consumers to utilize after traffic accidents.

The mobile phone application provides consumers with immediate access to several types of information, including friend and family contacts, insurance company or agent, vehicle identification data, local emergency services, geographic location of the accident and nearby towing services. The tool is also capable of retrieving contact information for Sherwin-Williams' A-Plus Network body shops and car rental locations.

“Any time you’re in an accident, it’s a very stressful occasion,” said Troy Neuerburg, manager of marketing business services for Sherwin-Williams. “Fortunately, most drivers now have their cell phones with them. This new app will supply drivers with the data and contact information through their cell phone to make the entire post-accident process go as smooth as possible.”

Neuerburg said the app can also help drivers prepare accident reports and share photos from the scene of accidents.

The app is free for consumers with iPhone and Android devices, and can be downloaded at sherwin-automotive.com.
