Nov. 16, 2012

Nov. 16, 2012—Audatex North America Inc. has signed a multi-year contract extension with SafeAuto Insurance to provide the insurer with automotive claims processing software.

Under the agreement, SafeAuto will use Audatex’s software to manage its claims workflow, including dispatch, alternative parts procurement, tracking and management, and total loss valuation.

“Customer satisfaction is always our most important goal at SafeAuto. With Audatex technology’s focus on integrating the entire claims process from start to finish, we’ve been able to condense cycle times and reach new levels of efficiency,” said Rob Huebner, director of material damage for Columbus, Ohio-based SafeAuto, which provides automotive insurance to drivers in 16 U.S. states. “By increasing efficiency, we can strengthen customer relationships and optimize the overall customer experience.”

In addition, SafeAuto will also test Audatex’s AudaNet platform, a claims product that connects insurers, independent appraisers, repair shops and vehicle owners. AudaNet has been used for years in European countries, and recently debuted in North America during the 2012 NACE Expo in New Orleans.

“We’ve built a valuable, long-lasting partnership with SafeAuto through the years, and we’re very pleased to extend our business partnership with them, particularly as we roll out the new AudaNet platform across North America,” said Wolfgang Ahrens, managing director of Audatex U.S. “We look forward to further supporting SafeAuto with our industry-leading, intelligence-based automotive claims solutions, which are designed to make customer satisfaction a top priority.”
