Jim Richardson named vice president of ABRA glass division

March 17, 2011 — Former PPG employee Jim Richardson recently joined ABRA Auto Body and Glass as vice president of its glass division, ABRA announced this week.

Richardson’s previous positions at PPG included director of sales, director of alliance programs and business development and segment manager in the paint company’s architectural coatings division. He also spent nine years with Harmon Glass.

“ABRA is a growing company and a well-respected leader in the damaged vehicle repair and auto glass industry,” Richardson said. “I look forward to being an integral part of the management team as the company continues to expand its business and develop better ways to automate their processes through operational excellence.”

Scott Krohn, ABRA’s executive vice president of operations, said Richardson would fill a key strategic position and bring a depth of industry experience to the company.
