AMI honors instructor Robert O’Connor

October 26, 2010—The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) announced that AMI Instructor Robert O’Connor is the winner of the AMI Annual Recognition Award.

The award goes to an organization or individual who has taken significant action to encourage, enhance and support automotive professionals to improve their management and business skills, according to an AMI press release_notes. O’Connor has been an instructor for 21 years and has also pledged $50,000 to AMI making him an EXCEL partner of the company.

“Bob O’Connor is an extraordinary instructor with a great passion for the automotive industry,” said Tony Passwater, AMI board of trustees chairman. “Over the past 25 years, he has helped shop owners improve operations, increase profits and achieve the goals that are most important to them.”
