PBEPRO Web Services to accelerate aftermarket e-commerce

Nov. 1, 2011

Las Vegas, Oct. 31, 2011—PBEPRO Web Services on Monday announced it is making it easier for manufacturers and distributors to sell and promote automotive aftermarket products online by allowing them to leverage digital product data from a single data source.

PBEPRO has a database of more than 60,000 products covering more than 90 brand lines, according to the company.

Jeremy Ballard, vice president of technology for CollisionSync, operator of PBEPRO Web Services, said PBEPRO Web Services also improves the customer experience by reducing order-processing time.

“If a distributor has a website on one platform and an order management system on another, PBEPRO Web Services can eliminate inefficiencies,” Ballard said. “PBEPRO Web Services reduces errors caused by manual entry and, more importantly, gets products into customers’ hands faster.”

“E-commerce is a fast-growing channel in the automotive aftermarket,” said Christian Hassold, president and CEO of CollisionSync. “We’re excited to help our manufacturer and distributor partners sell more products and improve the customer experience.”
